Conventions ----------- All data generated by the satmo system follow a strict naming convention and are organized in directories accordingly. Util functions are available in the API (e.g.: ``filename_parser()``) to parse information from these file names, to generate file names from metadata (``filename_builder()``), or to build the path corresponding to a given file (``path_builder()``). In most functions and command lines, a variable ``data_root=``, corresponding to the root of the directory tree has to be set.
